ABOUT HEARTLAND COLLEGIATE ATHLETIC CONFERENCE
The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference is a 10-member NCAA Division III Conference based in Carmel, Ind. The HCAC was established in 1987 as the Indiana Collegiate Athletic Conference (ICAC) and was formed as an “academic” athletic conference, combining outstanding private education with top-notch intercollegiate athletics. The league added members outside of Indiana and was renamed the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference in 1998. The conference currently sponsors championships in 22 sports.
